My carpet is soaked
My carpet is soaked
My driver side carpet front and back seat is soaked. I took it to the guys that fixed my a/c. They said it has nothing to do with the a/c.
Before both the driver side and passenger side would get wet. Now its just the driver side. The passenger side is nice and dry.
They try and tell me that its the body. I might a hole where the water is coming in. It has been raining like cats and dogs.
Any ideas?

under the carpet is tar and under that tar are drain caps. The tar in some areas is more of a thin putty that holds these caps in. lift the carpet or go under the car with a light next to your brake pedal and you'll see were the rubber cap is. It will be black. If its there i highly doubt water is getting in through 3 layers of tar. If its not.......Theres you issue. ill take pics tommaro for you.
maybe with all the crap that happened to your door, something isnt sealed properly? is there any sign of water coming in thru the door, anywhere near the bottom of the panel? id imagine theres nothing coming thru your sunroof or any signs of that...
well I did fix the window the regulator . I felt along the carpet thats along the door side not the floor and felt dry. But the floor is soaked.
Today it didn't rain or last night for that matter and the carpet is dry now since i put a towel to soak up the water. Last night i did use the ac as well so A/C might not be the problem.
Oh my sunroof seal is cracking on the left front edge but when it rains i feel no rain coming in.
Thanks for your help guys
I will look under the car today to see whats up with the cap

Sunroof leaking is possible. There are drains in each corner that carry water through small diameter flexible plastic tubes to drain outlets in the wheel wells. You can use a small pitcher of water and check that each drain is draining properly to it's respective outlet. If not you may be able to use light air pressure to blow any blockage out of the tube. I would be very careful w/ the air pressure. If you blow the tube off the drain outlet of the sunroof, you would likely have to remove the sunroof to reconnect tube to the drain outlet of the sunroof (no fun).
good luck

I Also ThinK Its A Sunroof Problem. Water Is Guided Out Thru Sunroof Assembly Rails To Small Plastic Pipes Inside Pillars And Out Down In Fenderwells. You May Have Leak All Over The Car As Those Rails Are Under Entire Headliner And Leak From Sunroof May Even Appear On Rear Passanger Seats
