Hi guys,

I have a pecular problem. My rear muffler seams to be making squeaking noises on its exhaust hangers.

Now the hangers aren't torn or broken, I just checked, but when I hold my muffler and move it from left to right, I get the same irritating squeaking noise I get, when I'm pulling away from a stop light, or raising the engine while the clutch is pressed (and cold).

I was wondering is there any quick fix anyone knows of to stop the rear muffler from "moving" or stopping the hangers from squeaking?

P.s. Could some1 try to actually hold there muffler and see if it actually moves left to right as well. Mine has some play, but I'm talking about it moving about 1cm either side, not some crazy amount.

 

My muffler moves if I try to shake it. No squeaks tho...
