gauge lights and headlights dimming

gauge lights and headlights dimming

the gauge backlights and headlights dim intermittently when i have my blinker on only when im stopped or at low rpms. i suck with electrics. should i start with grounds? any ideas?

Make sure you battery connectors are tight is the only thing I can think of with a car so new.

but i just drove around the block to check it out and... well now it does it when the windows are going up or down:angry:

sounds like an alternator issue, or your battery is going. how long have you had the battery?

battery and alternator are new as of maybe 6 weeks ago

Seems to be a common issue on CLs. I've been trying to figure out the same thing since I've owned the car.

is it related to your A/C being on too? whats the CCA of your battery? below OEM recommendation? ive never had this problem before, but IIRC the CCA of my battery is well above 700
