foglights won't turn off when high beams are turned on
Do you want them to turn off when the high beams come on because it is illegal where you are to have both on at the same time?
I think the OEM fogs are supposed to turn off automatically when the high beams are on because of that reason.
Do you have extra wires hooked up to your battery? If so, it could be your fogs directly connected to the battery, in which case your high beams would have no effect on your fogs. They could also be tapped in somewhere else, different from the OEM wiring setup.
You might want to trace the wiring to see where they get their power from.
You could always just hit your fog button when you turn on your highs
Someone else who may know more about wiring might want to jump in here. I'm sure there's probably a pretty easy resolution as far as wiring them correctly, I just don't know what that might be.
