I have a 1998 CL 3.0 and i have been dealing with this headache with the factory amp. I purchased a "Premium Sound Line Output Converter" Model ISVE61. I was told that it would turn on the factory amp. I followed the wiring diagram and installed the knew head unit. STILL NO SOUND.. !!! Does any one know what the next step would be. I still would like to use the factory amp for my car, I dont want to by-pass it.

 

Search around, people have said that they were able to trigger the amp successfully, I was not able to, so I bypassed it completely
