EGR valve
So my check engine light just came on... so i took it to autozone for a check.
Turns out I need to change my egr valve.... anyone done this before, or know how hard it is to do..... also are there any out there that are cheap?

what you need is to call Acura customer service and have your VIN number handy. You have a 99 so you should still be covered under warranty by Acura. But that's all dependent on your mileage. If not, you're gonna need to have the EGR port cleaned out. That requires taking it out and drilling the carbon out, and also replace the lines going to it, those clog up also.

What was code?
EGR valve rarely fails. If the code is insufficient EGR flow, the fault could be the EGR, but more likely is the distribution piping and manifold ports after the EGR. If code was insufficient EGR lift, the problem could be lack of vacuum to the valve, perhaps a broken or loose vacuum line. Lot's of possibilities. Diagnostics are called for unless you want to speed $150 for a new EGR w/ the possibility it won't fix your problem.
good luck
