CV Joints

I hear my CV joints clicking a bit on turns... booo. Currently 154k on a '97 2.2CL.

My question... should I get the new boot kits or just rebuild the entire CV joint? I don't want to have to do this again for a long time.

Once the CV jts start clicking, damage has been done. You need new CV joint shaft assy's. Boots only repair the cover and won't stop the clicking which is due to worn parts from lack of grease.

Search this site carefully. I beleive there is a good source for CV jts noted. The cheap CV jts from AZ, et al are a waste of time and money to install. They have far too many early failures or never worked examples.

good luck
