my car was originally from warmer states, brought her to michigan begining of this winter, and after a few months in the cold the 'honk honk' sound when you lock or unlock it doesn't sound anymore

not sure if it was the cold that killed it or if it just died over time, but is there like a fuse or a battery or something that normally kills these?

tried searching but i must be failing at the search terms lol, no idea what to call the sound and it keeps getting confused with the TSX's beep confirmation

 

Try to re-program the beep. Not sure off hand how to do it, but it's on this site somewhere. Could've somehow become disabled. When I bought mine used it was silent, and I changed it to beep.
