Acura 2.2 cl
Why does my acura 2.2 cl run through the sensors or relays and then the abs light comes on i have checked the fuses under the abs box and there all good what can be causing this i need help the brakes go to the floor and lock up and its got break fluid in it i check it every day but havent had to put any in it yet and my father said it was the master cylinder but i dont think that has anything to do with the abs light and i have not had to put any fluid in it could it be the abs motor or the abs motor relay someone please help i got a 3 year old daughter that rides in it thanks alot
common problem on the first gen cl's
the problem that most people find is the culprit is the wheel speed sensors, which there is 1 for each wheel.
this topic has been discussed before, and if you search abs or something along those lines you should be able to come up with a few threads on it.
the matter of your brake pedal going to the floor and locking up the brakes is weird though.
i've had my abs light on since i bought my car 2.5 years ago, which suits me fine, as i don't like abs in winter.
i did have it stay off for a few minutes one time, and when it finally went off the brake pedal feel immediately changed, but only for that one stop, after that it was fine.
are you saying that everytime you apply the brakes they only start to brake when the pedal is on the floor, and they just lock up? or does this just happen sometimes?
