Do I need to drain the tranny fluid on passenger side cv axle change on 3.0?

Gonna do both cv axles but have heard 2 different things on whether the passenger side requires transmission fluid change. I have a 97 3.0. Will it be a simple replace or will fluid come out upon taking the old passenger side axle out? Thanks

No. I changed my passenger side CV a few months ago, and you don't have to drain any fluid for that.
