I've got a 97 2.2 stick shift, and a clicking cv joint. It only clicks when I turn left, so I'm wondering which side that points to being bad. Normally I have found a torn boot on one or the other making it pretty obvious which one to replace, but not this time. Thanks in advance for all the help!

 

If it clicks on Left turns you need the Right Side axle. It's not always the boot that gets damaged, sometimes the grease just drys out over time,and the joints wear out.
