Question Coolant leak... What connects to rear metal coolant pipe?

I am currently doing my timing belt/water pump/idler pulleys etc on my 1997 Acura 2.2 CL.

I had a coolant leak that I believe came from the water pump, which is why I decided to do the maintenance for the timing belt etc.

I found that the leak is actually coming from the black pipe under the intake manifold.

It is coming from a small hose bib looking fitting that comes off the black coolant pipe (metal). Directly on the back of where the water pump is.

Does anyone know what connects to this black small (about a 1/4" bib connection) fitting? That is off the large metal black coolant hose?

It look as if the previous owner forgot to connect a line to it.

Thank you very much!

Nevermind,

I found that the small hose bib connection is actually a "stop" for the water pipe.

it is leaking from behind it, where it connects to the back of the water pump... I beleive its the Oring that connects the pipe to water pump.
