One of the panel doors that cover the cup holders got "bent" out of alignment so the they don't shut flush. Getting a new console is $$$, but it doesn't seem broken, just pushed out of track.

Anyone have experience doing some maintenance on their CL's center console (or TLs...I think it's basically the same). Seems pretty easy to remove (a few screws, etc).

Any tips, suggestions? I don't want to further damange my baby.

Go to the DIY section, look for the prelude shifter DIY and it shows u with pix how to take that stuff apart..

Thanks for the replies...if any one has experience pulling out the cup console from a 3.2cl, please advise. It doesn't seem as simple as "pulling out."

Shineynitelight, I may take you up if my weekend "project" falls short. Is it for a 3.2cl?

 

3.2 cl is the 2nd gen forum. This is the 1st gen forum, for 2.2 and 3.0 CL's. They are similar, however different. You're better off posting in the 2nd gen cl forum, people will be able to answer you better.

 

Ahhh....so that's what second generation is. My bad, for some reason I thought second generation referred to the OWNERS (new versus second hand)...
