Busted brake line

Awesome, was sitting at a light when I noticed my car creeping forward with my foot firmly on the brake. Limped home and ebraked it into my driveway.
Not sure exactly where the leak is, still trying to get that damn plastic pan off. (WTF is the point of of dang thing? I got $50 that says everything under it rusted cause it traps salt and gunk in it)

Anyone had to replace the brake lines?? Should I do back to front? or just splice in if i can get to it?

are you sure you're leaking fluid?

have you thought about it being the master cylinder?

Well since I push the brake and can see fluid squirting out the side of the pan, I am going to assume it is a line.

lol, yah that pan is a pain but it serves 2 functions (1) to piss off the guy working on the car (2) to keep dirt and crap FROM getting into the engine compartment, with a little bit of air smoothing cause at high speed all the suspension parts have a lot of drag but the pan gives it some arrowdynamics or some shit like that.

i would find whats leaking and replace it fo'sho. inspect the rest (wiggle and tug,... not your junk the brake lines) if any is bad than replace. most likely a line, they have a shelf life but might be a connection ... if you are lucky.

^ i think hes talking about the channel under the drivers side which encompasses the fuel and brake lines?...maybe not...ive contemplated taking THAT off bc it seems as if it would trap stuff causing additional corrosion.

Well both suck sweaty nuts, but yes the bigger one in the rear is the worst.
Need to find a deal on part number 46330-SV7-A00
Most are $100 plus a butt load in shipping.

aaaaaaaahhh yes, my bad. its supposed to keep all the lines free of abrasions but yah it would trap so much crud, looking under my 99 cr-v, its rusted as a 1944 panzer, i think the rust has fused the bolts to the body, lol.
