blower motor 98 3.0
blower motor 98 3.0
I need to replace my blower motor. It sometimes buzzes (hums) loudly especially when cold. I removed the three screws from the motor housing but the motor and fan assembly does not have enough clearance to remove it. Anyone know what it takes to remove it?
Once you get it all unscrewed and disconnected you can very carefully squeeze it out. Squeeze the "blade" part, deform that and you can work it out. When you put the new one in you just do the same thing. Just do it carefully and slowly and you should be all right, lived with mine for about a year before I decided to go for it. Getting the screws out/back in was actually more of a pain in the ass.
