Alternator

I need a new alternator, does it honestly matter what brand it is, as long as it has a 105amp output?

I have been disappointed w/ the quality of the alternators offered by AZ, ORielly's, et al. However they offer a lifetime warranty and removal/install is not that difficult.

good luck

I would honestly just get one from a junkyard instead of AZ or Advance. Best thing to do would be to look one up for your car/trim on car-part.com and sort by distance. Alternators for the 3.0 are plentiful and really cheap. If you find one with 50-60 K it will last a long time too. I think the Accord V6 is also compatible which will help your search. Whatever you do, don't get something with a lower amperage (if that's even possible)
