After Market Master Cylinder for my '99 CL
Hello - this past July, I needed to replace my master cylinder, and the dealership put on an Auto Zone replacement part, since Acura no longer makes parts for their vehicles older than 15 years.
I no longer have proper braking ability (does not stop immediately, and I do not feel comfortable when driving - it's awful). I want to know if this is common for this after market part, or if the part should act like brand new when installed? I'm thinking that the dealership needs to make it right.
Thanks!

yeah you should take it back to them and have them rectify the situation... could be a bad part, I"m surprised an Acura dealership would go buy a part at an Autozone.

RockAuto has a great selection of aftermarket parts and also there is a 5% off code for Acurazine members : https://acurazine.com/forums/sponsor...2020-a-982826/

Oh wow - thanks! As it turned out after my visit to the dealer today, a brake caliper that they put on a few months ago is leaking, and they said that will fix the problem, and I'm thankful it's warranty work!

Doubt it's the master cylinder, most likely a caliper or brake line
