abs, buzz then click, then light on.

(unlike post below) like the title sayes, i got the car, did some stuff to it but not air or breaks at this point, i took the car to the dealer to look over, they sayed awesome shape but leaking oil line and break fluid bad. they sterted to fix the stuff but i wanted a diagnosis so i could fix. they told me the mechanic started wa done the leak and starting the fluid, i stopped them, got my car, 1 weel later BUZZZZZZ, click from passenger side, abs light on. the fluid sometimes gets low but it always does this once the car is warm, took it back to dealer, they said nothing wrong. wanted to smash the prick but settled down cause they MIGHT be inocent, WHAT COPULD THIS BE????????

The buzz is your ABS pump priming, it's normal. Try topping off your brake fluid, that sometimes helps the light go away, otherwise, like I said, it's probably an wheel speed sensor

mine comes on every now and then but it never came on until I had the car aligned, I have no idea what is causing it but as soon as it gets warm enough I am going to try and figure it out

You more likely than not have a bad sensor or wire on your abs system. older abs systems are junk and seem to almost always go bad. Personally if it bothers you that much i would just pull the fuse and disable it (i like to control my car not a cpu) my light came on and that's what i did. or a scan can tell you exact problem but probably be a little costly to fix.

Does this disable the light as well? I feel the same. I hate old ABS systems. Pure junk. It doesn't look too easy to remove either though, so I was thinking of disabling it completely.

as long as it isnt going to lock up my wheel or anything i dont care, so far it hasnt been a problem.

blackack, i awlays top up my fluid but it seams to leak out/disapear, i parked it over card board for 2 days and seen no leaks so i dont know, as for the sensor i might try that. personaly i hate abs.

They haven't yet on mu acura yet but as long as they have power it can be a complete annoyance on other cars with same problems i've gone to just slow down and they kicked in and almost locked up the tires.

Your brakes will lock when your abs light is on, trust me. Usually it's a sensor or there's also o-rings inside your abs motor that can cause this

Probably but if you pull the fuse problem solved they off tires won't lock up and you're good. Just the light will remain on. Just make sure nothing else goes through the fuse.
