So my 99 3.0 CL is giving me starting issues in the morning. It cranks, and cranks fast for about 10-15 seconds before it starts. Then the rest of the day it's fine. What could this be? Batter, starter, alternator, spark plugs, wires, fuel filter, pump?

Car has 237k miles, spark plugs havn't been changed in 137k miles, Spark wires in 237k.

Car runs great though. No hesitation.

 

is your gas low?

 

actually it was at about 1/4 tank. Just filled it up today, so we'll see tomorrow.

 

good call. It just seemed to get worse the closer I got to an empty tank. Seems to start fine now.

 

yep, thats pretty normal.
