I noticed the smell of gas coming in through the vents and after looking under the hood, found a cylindrical looking thing attached to the firewall is leaking gas. Looking from driver's side to passenger side, there's the brake master cylinder, the charcoal canister and then the part that is leaking gas. Here's two pictures:

Anyone know what this part is?

 

Crap, just figured out that its a fuel filter. Also already found diy on how to replace.

 

Yep that's your fuel filter, not too bad to replace, I replaced mine with a fram from walmart
