98 3.0 CL Idle Problem 117K

my problem is very difficult to diagnose as the vehicle runs great 98 % of the time and has plenty of acceleration and sets up and idles great the problem happens when the car is at normal operating temp and seems to happen at noon or later in the day when outside temp is 70 deg or higher when driven for about 20 minutes or so and is parked for at least 25 min and I try to start the vehicle it will not set up and idle and the gas pedal has to be held down to clear the problem for about 1 min then the vehicle runs great again.
this window of time is between 25 to 40 minitues and seems to be heat related and involves a cool down and then sets up and idles normaly
have replaces the Idle air control valve and the fuel pressure valve and still have the problem

Pleas advise as to what could be causing this problem??
