I have tried all the recommended fixes to re-program my two key fobs. None work! I have new batteries in each, and when I push the lock/unlock or trunk release buttons, the small red light on the fob lights up. I have an appointment with the dealer next week, but I truly am afraid of what it will cost to have them do the programming. Can anyone offer any suggestions besides turning on the ignition and pressing the lock/inlock button 4-6 times? This 63 year old retiree would appreciate any help.

 

when you tried to reprogram it, did you close the door? because i had trouble when i did it because the doors wont lock if you leave the door open while trying to reprogram the remotes. and also when turning the ignition to on, dont start it, just turn it once for the radio to turn on.
