Hello I am new to the forum and the Acura family. A couple months ago I bought a 1997 Acura CL 3.0 that has 38k original miles. I bought it from an elderly family friend for a thousand bucks. It's been running great until a couple weeks ago. I drove home from work and it was driving great and when I went to leave about an hour later I noticed the key fob wasnt unlocking the car but the red light is lighting up on the fob. I manually unlocked the car and the car wont start. The battery is brand new but I still took it out and took it to get checked and it was fine. The terminals are clean and tight. I then bought and installed a brand new starter and solenoid and still nothing. I have checked every single fuse and everything was good. I can hear the fuel pump turn on and the lights and radio all come on. Please any ideas or suggestions are very much appreciated. I'm soooooo lost and very frustrated! Try the distributor and main fuse relay... Both are an issue if never changed..
