Worst CL Experience this weekend

Alright, so I was on a little road trip to Canada this weekend when I ran into a few problems with my CL. For some reason the car would shut off by itself while I was driving. I'd pull off to the side of the road and then start it back up and everything seemed just fine. Saturday night I am parking in the garage at the hotel after coming back from Whistler, I pull the keys out and the engine still runs...I have no idea what the deal is. I went ahead and pulled the ignition fuse to kill the engine, that worked, however, the car still thought something electrical was on, so the battery ran all night and in the morning I was stuck with a dead battery. I had to jump the car to get it started. I took the key out again and the car still ran, so this time I pulled the ignition fuse and the battery fuse. I drove it back home today (To Seattle) and it died once but I was able to start it back up again. I went to a shop I've had some good previous experience with and then basically said they couldn't help me out. The reason for this is because of the computer chips that are in are keys, they don't make after market ignitions for our cars yet I guess. My only option (according to them) was to take it to Acura and have them work on it for me. Acura said there is a recall on the ignition and so they will fix that for me on Tuesday and if that works I'm good to go, if not, it will be expensive I guess.

I'm just curious, has anybody had these problems or has anyone heard of them? Any advice on what to do? I just want my CL back asap with the problem solved. It's frustrating to have a problem like this happen to a CL, it really shouldn't happen to this car.

I'm not sure 100% sure if your problem is related to the recall they're having. The car will turn off by itself cause of a bad ignition. SO you might want to bring it to the dealer to check that out.
