97 2.2 losing coolant, no leak

i have a 97 2.2 cl and it has been good to me overall, recently i have noticed that i am losing coolant at a pretty rapid rate but it is not leaking outside the car anywhere, and i can't smell it burning off. it seems to lose more when running the a/c...i just got the head gasket done and the cylinder head shaved. luckily it was still under warranty from the dealer when the hg blew. it is running fine except for a minor loss of power. I thought it might be a crack in the head or block, but there is no coolant in the oil, any other suggestions?

look under your oil cap for a milky residue, if there is one.....then your headgasket is blown.

I would suggest having a coolant system leak test performed. This should pinpoint the leak. Some places are difficult to detect; heater hose, throttle body heating hoses, water pump drain, radiator seams.

good luck

it could be leaking coolant directly into the cylinder then burning it off.. there would be no milky residue in the oil. just alot of moisture comming out from the exhaust.
