Pics of my LED'ed Interior!!!!

Unfortunately my camera sucks or I just don't know how to take pictures at night, but here are a couple pics of my interior with a full LED swap out so can have an idea of what it looks like if you'd wanna do a mod like this. I decided to go with a blue/Red combination. Enjoy!

Here's the DIY for the climate control https://acurazine.com/forums/1g-cl-diy-faq-74/climate-control-led-swap-diy-modification-696786/ Honestly, I just followed all of DIYs on the forums and everything worked perfectly besides for a few broken clips here and there.

Looks good man, glad my diy helped you out, what did you use for the switches like the cruise and sunroof? I haven't found 3 mm bulbs short enough to fit yet

Yeah I don't have much patience either with that stuff although I did swap led's into the easy ones like the fog, cruise and sunroof buttons. And I did the security light when I had the panel off putting in my speakers but I'm not about to take apart my dash, Too many fragile plastic pieces.

hey quick question. ive heard theres a light green tint or color on the gauge cluster. i was wondering if you removed it or anything before you put in the blue LEDs.

which led bulbs did you use? I bought a bunch of 3mm bulbs from superbright but they're way too tall to fit

I don't remeber moving the green layer from the gauge cluster to be honest. Oh and Black, I could've sworn that you were the one who told me where to get the bulbs from. Think I got the 3mm from www.superbrightleds.com. If the bulbs don't seem like they fit, then try to make them fit. Lol I remember having issues with the 3mms.

Here's the DIY https://acurazine.com/forums/1g-cl-diy-faq-74/changing-instrument-gauge-color-471188/ This was the first mod I did when I joined this site and it's not hard at all. Just follow the directions and everything should workout fine. You can buy the red LEDs at http://www.autolumination.com/ orhttp://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...gi?product=CAR

JUst wondring what other colors are possible with the climate control and clock. I'm trying to figure out a way to pull off a full black/purple light swap. so far i have the gauge cluster in black light nd the two little 74's on top are too dim to read the gauges (i can only read the speed at 70-100, but thats ok cuz i'm always going that fast. i have to doors done in black light led's and they look sick a night; the trunk too (i need to get a brighter blub any ideas???) and the glove box. this summer i'm gonna get some black light neon for the foot wells and maybe wire up some kind of splash lighting that goes on when the doors open. sorry to whore this up but i'm stuck

Looking great!

Which ones did you use for under the dash?

Just too many options on the market...it's freaking overwhelming!

I just bought this ebay set http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/RED-L...spagenameZWDVW
I also put a system in my car and did some LED work to the trunk as well. I'll post pics in a little bit. I'm in class right now.

Yep

I mounted the switch in the coin holder atm. I have the footwell lighting and the red lighting in the sub box together. The Blue color is just an LED replacement of where the strock trunk light goes.

I was looking at these...would these be good?
I bet those would work better than the ebay set. Where did you find those at?

eBay...but was intrigued by the LED style...for some reason I thought it would be easier to work with.

berks, could you take a picture of the kit you used for your foot wells? i saw the ebay link you posted but there is no actual picture of the kit itself, only the installed pics. i currently have two led strips that i've had for years that never installed. i wanted to use them as footwell lighting but with new technology out, i wanted to buy something new.
