So i went to the show this past weekend and represented ACURAZINE.... Picked up first place for acura and others!!!

Most of you have never seen my car.. or seen only glimpses... this is my first photoshoot . For my CL all i wanted was to be different. ALL COMMENTS ARE WELCOMED.. if you think its rice.. just say it.. i dont care.. just wanna know what you guys think.. im ready.. haha

These are a few pics of my engine, all pieces were airbrushed.. my newest and most innovative mod. also polished my manifold and painted the gasket black.

I added a strip LED LIGHT to the top as a Brake light.... I took out the 3rd Brake light and converted it to my reverse...
Added a REVERSE night vision color camera in the back.. can you spot it?

Just enter it bro, just go into mild part of the show this way they don't put you against a car that has 20K worth of mods.

 

i'll type out my mod list for you guys later... I had another mod that i've never seen on a CL b4.. i tried it out.. but dont know if its that great... had these chrome strips and i chromed the line where the bottom grille is.. i saw it on ebay first for the newer CL's TL's so i tried it out... heres a picture of it.. i had it on for a bit.. it looked good but eventually i decided to take it off
where the bumperlight is..

 

Yeah the A-Spec 05 TL has the chrome strips. I don't think it looks half bad with your setup but I it's only a side view. Do you have a better shot?

got them... second picture i also tried adding chrome to my taillights... but i took it off because it looked like too much was going on... my friend said it looked good.

 

Congrats on the I think overall your car flows well together. I too am not crazy about the hood stickers, but hey, it is different. I am impressed with the airbrushed engine bay. Very nice, it's different. I would like to do something like that to mine. Very show car looking. Nice work overall Nato. Keep up the good work

 

The front is fine, I agree with on the tail it's too much..IMO leave the graphics on the side, take the ones off the bottom and the hood and drop it 1 more inch. Great work...I think the reverse brake light would get us pulled over down here by some country police..

Not a big fan of the wing. But if you like it, that's all that matters.

How long did it take to clean that engine? Looks great!

CLPlatano - Really?.. why would you get pulled over for having the reverse there?.. are the cops really strict there? I agree on the drop ... my drop is not low enough.. maybe i should get air ride in the future.

CiLver2.3 - No i didnt use a tripod.. thats why some of the pics were very blurry... BTW i like your screen name.. haha very creative. and yes alot of people dont like the wing but i think it makes the CL stand out and look different. so i'll keep it for now.. maybe sell it next year ... if i can only get my hands on a 03 TL a-spec spoiler... i would modify it to the CL

Tacho - Hey man thanks, actually i jsut did a quick wipe down.. took me about 30 minutes to wipe all the hoses and stuff...

I have a black 3.0 too. Not sure what I wanna do it the engine bay yet, too busy worrying about the rest of the car, and my fiberglass trunk. However I plan to get some airbrushing done on the fiberglass trunk, maybe i'll do up the engine at the same time...

Your engine covers are amazing, I've wanted to paint mine too for the longest time.

What suspension are you running?

The resemblance between our cars is strange.

 

u need to drop it more... get rid of ALL OF THOSE STICKERS.

custom paint , different rims, 97 grille...

then u'll be doing things... the stickers and the lifted look are not doing it for me at all..

i like the led strip and the rear lip though.

whered u get the LED strip?

 

that'll basically be a totally different CL/ look....

its lowered on pro-kit right now.. but considered to what it was before.. when i got it.. it was a 5 finger gap plus a lil more.. now its 2 fingers in the front.. the back sometimes tucks because of my system.. so its considered good
iwould like it lower though.

haha ya.. your car is super low.. haha love that drop you got.. but downtown the roads are harsh.. mad potholes and bumps.. im scared of the driveway scrape.

 

i got some bad potholes and bumps around here, you just gotta learn where they are so that u can aviod those areas or know when to dodge them

i'd be scared of the driveway scrape too since u got a lip so i wouldn't want to scrape that...

 

i don't even got a lip yet and i scrape every where
i live in milton darknights maybe an hour drive... depending on paint and if i do system next spring i may enter see if i can get some kenwood sponsership or atleast get in the tent like my buddys civic, integera last year

 

Milton? The roads aren't too bad, just a lot of hills. Wouldn't wanna be downtown like Nato ...

 

they keep fixing the roads but it keeps breaking... ESPECIALLY the TTC streetcar tracks.. those are the worst..

ya im w/ Nato, if i had anythin lower than the prokit i would DIE on my drives to downtown LA, hollywood, or even my gf's area of san gabriel.. i get murdered already.
