jus got my car tinted yesterday. 20% all around and also got tail light tint (also 20%) on about a week ago. just thought i might want to share

what do you think of the 20% tint? i was thinking of retinting the same, but from the pics it looks still too lighty for me.. i was thinking 10%?

DAMN that's 20%? That's easy to see through. My boy's 20% looks way darker than that, but it may just be cuz it's so sunny in your pics. But man that looks SO clean with the black wheels and tail light tint, I CAN'T WAIT to get my car tinted, couple more weeks, and I can afford it

 

Oh, and DEBADGE that trunk!!!!

It looks 100 times better. And cleaner, specially with the tail lights.

 

^ tint here is $150.. pretty cheap is it the same elsewhere?

 

To get a good tint job here it's like 200-250, there aren't many places that do it well. I've been waiting to get a good tint job, rather than a half ass job.

looks good, just got mine done too. did they have problems with it sticking to the upper part of the rear window? they told me those little tiny dots are paint and the tint has trouble sticking up there, said they could do a strip of vinyl up there.

 

search. this has been discussed many times before. you can have them put a strip of black vinyl across the dot matrix.

i know a good shop thatll do it for like 130.. and that is to take off my existing tint and put new ones.. i know the guy that runs it i might be able to get $100,

california tint on rosemead in rosemead.. good stuff

im getting my car tinted when it comes back from paint this week hopefully....

 

mmmm k where to start. yes its 20% and it looks darker in person i think. it ran me $225 and as for the matrix dots the guy i went too said he used some kind of solution on top of the matrix dots so that they would stick so no problems so far but then again its only been a day.

i live in Danville which i guess is close to Walnut Creek, Pleasanton, Dublin, San Ramon so yea.... and i go to school at DVC in Pleasant Hill next to Sun Valley Mall.

edit: o yea as far as dropping it more which i would love to do i wouldn be able to make it up my own driveway. so prokits will do for now

 

hopefully its darker than that in person, cuz i want 20% and it better be dark

 

^ yea its a lot darker and the sun was shining right on it.
as for visability u can see just fine during the day and night.

 

20% is perfect. but to me, the darker the better

Alot of ppl go to California Tint on Rosemead around the SGV. Heard alot of good things about that place. You should check it out George.
