Finally dropped it

So, I finally installed my F2's after sitting on them for what feels like an eternity (2 months). Rolling on spare wheels (15's) and tires until they are fully broken in so I don't chew up the good ones. Eyeballed the toe back near spec up front so it's not too terrible, they ride great but my SPC balljoints are going to eat through my shock towers soon. It was lower when I pulled it out of the garage (got beached doing so) but I raised it about 1.5". Overall, I am impressed with the F2's for the price. More than capable of slamming beyond drivable. Will put the regular wheels back on next week when I bring it in for an actual alignment.

When I first pulled it out of the garage and it was 1" lower, it was incredibly bouncy because I am sure the control arms were resting on the shock towers up front. As soon as I brought it up and rode it for a day, they feel great. My friend has H&R coils on his jetta and it rides like ass because the height is adjusted by compressing the spring. These are bottom mount adjustable and you retain the shock travel. Overall it's stiffer than stock and stays planted through the corners, I love them.

Edit: I also didn't change the spring perch on them, I left it as it came out of the box. When I installed them completely slammed, my car couldn't move because the exhaust was on the ground. I was near tucking those 15's in the rear. I had to raise them up twice... once to get it out of the garage, and again when I got it out.

looks good. update us with some pics when you get the other wheels on
and be prepared to scrape your front mudflaps, or take them off now if you care about them
are these the same as the k-sports almost? if so, what dampening do you have it set to?
