I'm not a fan of black housings on a black car, I know I'll get flamed for not blacking my housings on my retrofitted headlights, but it just makes the black CL's look too much like a raccoon for me. You did a nice job though, just should have used a flatter black

Ive been battling over whether or not to do the housings of my car too. I still cant decide! I like yours though, and i prefer the shinier housings.

I didn't, once you see them you'll understand why cuz everything matches, but it may look good on your car cuz u have the blacked out grill

thanks, im pretty proud of it. theyre only the second set ive done. i like the shine cause it makes it look like the body intertwines with the headlight. plus i just think the cl lights are too damn plan. no color at all compared all the other acura/honda lights. i almost ambered my corners but i didnt have the paint at my place

I understand why...Cause they're gonna look sick as fukk when you put it all together. And yeah I think with the blacked out grill yours would probably look good.

great job on the headlights!

Yeah I'm kind of debating on if I want to go the blackhoused route when I do my retrofit as well. On one hand I think it'd look pretty sick to blackhouse everything in the projector section, but then I'm planning on using the 'xenon' e46 shrouds, which I want to keep chromed...so it may just look better keeping the whole housing chrome.

either way, great job...Id definitely like to see pics when the bumper is put back on

rycist, wait a week till you see my completed retro b4 you make that decision

And amber corners would have really set off those blackhousings
