Black Ack's Summer 2010 Shoot at Youngstown meet
So I got a LOT of stuff done to my car, and had a meet with a few guys from the forum. We were expecting 12-15 cars, and ended up with 5, but we made the best of it and had a good time. More pics of the meet can be found here, I will post most of my meet pics there, this thread is more centered on my car.
Interior CF, CL-S Steering Wheel Swap, Cocoa's Airbage, and Double Din Pioneer
I have some more professional pics from Mattastick's boy, but I need to get permission before i post them, these are ones that AtTheGates and I took, hope you enjoyed

We liked the backdrop, unfortunately it was cloudy and overcast and started raining on us. The glare was kind of annoying and made a lot of pics blurry, also made it hard to get good shots of my projectors. Is this any better?

97 accord double din ebay dash kit needed some modification
Thanks man, it's mitch14, he came down from Winnipeg and met up with us
No, it's mitch14
it's dropped just not as low as Mitch's, but his car is pretty much dragging frame

Yeah, I kept saying that at the meet, my 2 or so inch drop looked like nothing compared to his car, his car was literally an inch off the ground, I don't think he could fit the toe of his shoe under his car
I'm planning to slam the car more, had to put the 18's on to see how much i needed to lower, going to lower at least 1/2-3/4 of an inch minimum

as if no one knows who has the slammed stock cl with the rack
and if you think that is low, just got the header installed, it's hanging an inch to an inch and a half too low where it connects up to the cat it's gonna get fucked.
don't worry, next time i won't be there, so you can compare to Matt's
but it's looking good Chris, the engine and interior look soo clean, i love the attention to detail there.
But rims and overall exterior i'm not really feeling it just IMO though
keep her coming, i know it's a never ending project for you

Nice pics. For the rear lip, if you pull the area right below the tail light up... the end of the rear lip at the wheel well will point down more. Just so it looks a little more aligned with the bumper etc.

Yeah man, back from the dead. I've been pretty active on here for the last month or two, after a 5-6 year hiatus. You want to experience cringe worthy embarrassment, post on a forum as a kid and come back after you get a degree and start a career...then read your old posts. :shakehead
But yeah, give me a shout when you guys do a meet up next!

what rear lip is that? Thats the next thing I need to purchase after I get the spoiler and front lip installed. I like the way that one looks aligned up with the factory side skirts and ww front lip

yeah, roadtrip with my sis, went to chicago, then cedar park in ohio etc...
put about 5000kms (3100 miles) on the cl in a week, and i did all the driving
two things went wrong on the car, the amber got knocked out, and a wheel bearing went bad, probably from all the heat of driving all day
i'm glad that i don't have rims right now, this way the sidewalls can absorb some of the impacts that happen.
if i had rims and smaller profile tires, i probably would have bent one rim in chicago, and one rim in Indiana
Chris, let me know if you guys ever want to come up to Canada for a shoot
But in all seriousness, it would be sick to have a first gen mega meet
And i'd be down for another drive, just not really for 20 hours each way again, unless it was somewhere different
