I tryed it on my 97 and it worked great,I picked up a extra fob from a 99 the junkyard and reprogramed it also.

did it and it worked but it doesn't last too long before I have to program it again.Any ideas why it won't hold the program?or is it the car not picking it up?

your battery in the key fob when it dies can loose the frequency.

hell yeah brothah, i put a new batt. in and were good for a month but every day after i have to walk closer and closer to my car to get the buttons to work till im standing in front of the trunk, the red light barely flikers and the trunk dont open then i know i need a batt., lol.
