Yellow lights indicater on

Yellow lights indicater on

on my gauges the yellow square is on ya know how its normally green. what does yellow mean? what should i do?

Right. This will cycle from green to yellow to red every 7500 miles once it's been reset. Check your owner's manual to see what maintenance is needed on your car. Hopefully you had the oil changed and didn't wait 7500 miles!

Its just an indicator that can help you keep track when its time for an oil change or any other service. You can simply reset it by sticking your key in the small hole next to it. It changes colors green-red as your miles go up. When you change your oil you reset and it starts all over again. Hope that helps

thanks for the help, i thought somthing was wrong i changed the oil about 100 miles ago so its ok i just never press the botton so now i will. i though it was saying something was wrong its just a indicater of time in other words. thanks

Quit driving immediately. Have the car towed to an Acura dealer and ask him how to use the search function on this forum.

Actually its not really for oil changes. It goes red at certain intervals to tell you that regular service is needed. When we first bought our car the light whet red all the time because it was new and needed the new check up things but as the miles have gone up it goes red much less often

Mine is red, but i think acura forgets to reset the goddamn thing when i get an oil change...just another scam to scare the customer and make them bring the car in.
