Window Regulator Issues...

I bought the car on monday and it was awesome. Everything works great!

Today i shut the door and I heard a strange noise. Come to find out that my window regulator broke. Dammit! $115 for one from Acura and I cant get it till Monday. Cant roll up the window till Monday now. Ack.

Just thought Id share.

i had to replace mine when i go the car. i found a replacement on ebay for $40 or something like that. wasn't too hard to install, turns out the OEM had bolts that hold it in place, this one needed nuts, ace hardware fixed that. its been a few months. its working perfect.

btw my buddy used to have a typhoon, nice ride

I would but I dont want to wait. Im impatient. My window fell down and is stuck down. I dont want to tape or 2x4 it. I priced them, eBay is cheap and will take a few days for shipping. Acura is cheaper than Autozone even for this and they deliver to me Monday morning. Ill have one of my body guys install it for me and then life will be roses again. The heavens will open and angels will sing... heh

I bought window motors on ebay for $50 a pair and did them my self on my jimmy, but i dont feel like messin with the Acura now... I need to fix my Typhoons progressive fan controller.

sorry to hijack your thread but quick question.. my regulators went out as well and im trying to find a replacement.. can i use ALL regulators from any 1st gen CL (2.2 or 2.3) and ALL regulators from a 94-97 accord (coupe or sedan)? i just wanted someone to clarify it for me because i dont want to waste my money buying a part that wont work for me.
