Will this work?

I bought these gauges for my 97 3.0 CL and then realized that my gauges go by 20's not 10's. Will these work?

Yeah, all of our gauges are like that. Just by eye though, it looks like they'll be accurate. Notice that the 70 MPH mark on the aftermarkets and the 70 MPH hash on the stocks are in approx. the same location.

You should read before you buy something. We have a diy guide in our diy/faq forum, you install the faces over your current faces. And don't break your needles

ok thank you, the diy says to completely disconnect the 4 bulbs in the back. This is true? It also said to connect wires to the dimmer. If it has an on/off switch is this needed?

Good luck, my new fuel gauge should be ready for pickup tomorrow, and my pocket will be $65.00 lighter. Let us know how difficult they were to put on though, I wouldn't mind a set of those actually.

thank you. They were really cheap, but like you said i just hope i dont break any needles. My winning bid was 0.99. But 16 in shipping so 17 for gauges isnt bad.

my accord ones were cake the second time around on my spare cluster, but i still cant figure out how to wire them.
my recommendations are when you take out the cluster from the car, work on it inside on a table or the floor and take your time. i broke my needle because i worked on it inside the car and tried to rush it. oh yeah and when you take off the glass, take the black thing around it with so don't try to pry the glass off or you'll end up breaking it. and definitly take the screws on the gauges off first, then put on the glow gauges and screw it back in.

Some people just want different things for their cars. I personally don't like the stock look of the gauges, that's why I tried to install S7s. The indiglos would work with my theme of the car, white and black.

the gauges all have separate wires, they all plug into the power inverter. and you need to wire the power inverter to the dimmer switch for power...........

nice
did you read this
1genCL
one thing about running the wires through the dimmer is dont cut them all the way.
they shoud still connect to the switch. my bad exparience was that i tapped the
el-guage wires right into the red and black wire (withought running it back through
the dimmer, and now the climate control buttons dont light up anymore.. and the
odometer either.

that will happen if the factory dimmer switch is not completely connected with the wire harness. with the extra wires from the gauges, it may go into the harness a little tougher, but once in you will have no problems. mine have been fine since i installed them in January.
