will turbo ruin my tranny?
I want to turbo my 2.3. Does anyone know how long my stock tranny will last if I turbo my cl. I'm planning on driving it pretty hard if I do. Any of you out their with tubos or alot of mods, how your trannys holdin up?

f series engines are awesome for turboing!!!!! i thought this post was a joke. everyone here knows niedejb has a turb0 2.2 for like 6 months now. 253 to the wheels at 12psi is impressive to say the least. he still on his same 5spd. i doubt he runs it at the high boost all the time. 6-8 should be okay on stock internals for everyday drivin. than turn that shit up. again talk to niedejb.

You didnt state whether you had the 5 speed or auto (if they even had an auto for the 2.3).
Assuming its a 5 speed you'll be fine.
The tranny probs around here are with the 3.0 AUTOs
