Will this TBelt Kit work with a 3.0?
Been reading the timing belt threads here as I am about to do mine. I'm at 170,000Km. Bought car at 125k and have no idea if or when the last time the belt was changed so for preventative purposes and cause im in the coldest place in Canada I figure its time.
Anyways I heard there was a kit on ebay with all required parts. I found this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HONDA...temZ8014948314
But it does not have the 3.0 on the fitment chart. WIll it work? If not is there another kit or just get individual parts?

that is for 4 bangers only. If you read the fitment chart, it lists the 2.2 and 2.3 CL, but not the 3.0. Look on ebay for a 98-02 accord V6 timing belt.

The 2001-2003 CL use the same parts.
Here are the Honda/Acura parts for the Water Pump /w Gasket and Timing Belt for any of the Acura CL 1997-1999 and 2001-2003.

19200-P8A-A03 WATER PUMP 1 113.94 91.15
14400-P8A-A02 BELT (197YU26) 1 38.90 31.12
If you want to do the job according to the HELMs manual, then you also need to replace the following parts. Oil Tube O-Ring, Timing Adjustment Gasket, Timing Adjustment Stopper, Side engine mount bolt.

The prices were from AcuraParts247.com. As you can tell, I have to replace all my belts too.
