will 3.0 fit into a 2.x?

this might be dumb, but would a 3.0 motor fit into a 2.2 but have the manual tranny? or is that nonsense? Just wondering, thanks ahead of time.

it would require extensive modification of the wiring, mounts, hoses, exaust and many other things. and no the j30 wont mate with anything other than its own tranny.

Less torque, but more aftermarket support. Also available in sport shift.

the only manual tranny you can try to fit on the j30a is the 6spd trannny from the CL-s and it will cost you like 8g to do the swap alone

hmmm.. that;s a good point. I'll have to stop by teh honda dealership near my house and ask them what series engine the new 6MT accord is. If it's not a J series, then there is no chance, but if it's a j32 then tis' either the same tranny as a CL, or it's something new that we'll have to check out.
