Wierd ass problem with auto tranny
my friend was driving my CL to test the suspension and tranny. wut happened was that he told me the reason my tranny is sluggish is because my car doesn't start itself in 1st gear like it's supposed to, it goes 2-3-4 not 1-2-3-4. i don't know if first gens are SUPPOSED to do this, but i feel my car being sluggish at the low-end so could anyone straighten this out for me? thanks a lot

try to put the car in d1. and drive down the street. (leave it in d1 while driving) then stop and put it in d2, go for a drive. when our cars are in d2 thats just 2nd gear and it doesent go into first. u will tell the difference. then put it in d3 and go for a slow drive ~15 mph. u should feel how many shifts there are. there should be 2 shifts. (1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd) if first feels like theres only one shift the survo/pressure sensor for 1st gear is no good. i know its confusing but give it a try.

its koo, i found out the problem i think. it turns out that it's not that it's not starting in 1st, it's switching to 2nd very early on so it's basically not starting in 1st. i guess that's the way 2.2CL auto tranny's are
