Who has lowered CLs with reg. rims?

I have the 5 spoke rims that came on the CL in '97, but I wanted to know how many people have lowered CLs with these rims?

I'm asking because I want to lower my CL this summer, but I don't want to put rims on it (too much money, car already has a lot of miles on it, not worth it).

I now have rims, but originally, my car was lowered on stock rims. Unfortunately, I didn't save any digi pics of the the drop on stock rims.

It should look fine. Lowering your CL should help with cornering and it will help lessen some of the ugly wheel gap.

Well I didn't think that the rims were the right ones from the sig, so I thought maybe the drop had changed too.

Definitely lower it anyway. I still have my stock rims on too (for another week or so).
It improves the car's appearance no matter what you are rolling on.

yeah, i have mine sitting on the chrome stocks for '98, i think it looks sweet, and it helps me keep putting off getting rims until my 16's go bald

Go ahead and get rid of the ugly stock wheel gap that we all have.

Stock rims arent bad, but they gotta go soon. Atleast for the summer.

I think it still makes a significant difference, even if the car sits on stock rims. Notice the CL next to mine. You can hardly see it, but well enough to notice the difference in fender gap. Good luck!
