If your buying a CL to be fast, you bought it fot the wrong reason. We are a good looking attemp at a mid luxury coupe. The CL is really not fast. You want fast, either get a Mustang GT or eclipse gs-t or gsx. Fastest car for your money, invest money in them, and you will get FAR better rewards than the CL.

please.. those cars are so fucken played its tirin.. i could name like 20 other cars id rather hook up.. my CL is one of them..
i just put this up to see if there are others that like speed as much as me..

ive owned everything from a 89 turbo 300zx that ran 12's.. to a 1979 monte carlo ls that hit 120 db at a sound show.. for me the CL was a there a the right time kinda deal.. and the deal was too good to pass up..now i want more and ive found a way to get it.. so JUST PICK ONE AND THEN CLICK THE DAMN VOTE BUTTON..

i actually own my own legal copy of windows 2000 advanced server which i got for free from a company which closed down hehe.

i have a 3.0 but i would like a tranny swap and boost

i would first buy type s cams, then p and p the block, drop in the the new accord pistons, paint the car a titanium silver like the is300 and a new lambo then i would add on a 100 shot wet kit and then bring on the new tranny cause the stock one wont last long since i will have too much fun spraying my NAWS, i would also toss on a UR pulley kit too just for kicks and i should be in 13's in no time

i went to a 2003 server meet and when you walk in they give you close to $2500 worth of software.. i even got a xp copy with the service pack built in..office xp with all sp's..and some other ms shit..company paid.. i received..

spoken like a true enthusiast.. im sorry but cars are meant to go fast.. maybe not from the factory, but thats what the aftermarket is for... i have been hookin up cars since I was 14 and my bro got a 1990 300zx TT.. of course.. thats a factory fast car, but there was no stoppin it get into the 11's.. there are ways to make the CL extremely fast, and if ya ask me looks are just an extra perk..

I agree that our car is very good looking, or i wouldn't have bought it. I didn't buy a 3.0 to be fast, i bought it cuz of looks, dependability and decent power. I am sure you have smoked those cars, but how much $$$ have you put into your car? If you drop that money into a gs-t/gsx or mustang gt/cobra, your will ge far better results and times from those cars. I love cobras, not a CL i know sounds like one of them growling down the street. The shock factor is nice, but its not worth the money to me. Then again, i will never bring my car to the track, and the only street race i have lost so far, has been to a chipped/modded out 1.8t GTI. I have enough power to satisfy myself, and get into trouble.
