I had two 12" MMats in a ported box with a 1000 watt american bass amp, before someone broke into my car and took my whole system. That shit hit pretty hard but it took my up my whole trunk. Im lookin to get somethin good maybe somethin like the two MMats but not takin up my whole trunk, I was thinkin 1 12" DD 9500 in a ported box how would that sound.? Im not shore wat kinda of amp would b good for it any suggestions..

 

DD9500 is monstrous! I have heard 4 dd9512 in a truck and it is crazy loud!! 1 of those is all you need in a ported box. BE SURE to get the box made to spec, I'd hate to see a dd9500 go to waste! You could get a carbon fiber dust cap for like 30 bucks but you really don't need it. As far as amps go, you could go with JBL GTO1201.1 or any amp that has AT LEAST 1200 watts.

I got the DD3512 and it hits sofa king hard! Sounds like just like most 2 12s. Here is a pic of it that I took not too long ago. (forgive me for showing off )
