White Face Gauges Installed w/ PICS

I just put them in, played around with bulbs found out no backlights are the best. Great looking at night and day, give an almost indiglo look. Very easy install, and IMO very oem looking. They are true except the tach is off by 250 rpms at the WORST spot. Not too bad in an automatic. Well give me some feed back:

I bought mine about 18 mos ago. At that time, they were specifically marketed for the 3.0CL.

I got mine sometime last year. They lined up no problem. Got them on ebay for the '94-'97 Accord.

Cool - does anyone know where I can get the chrome rings for our gauges? I searched Ebay but couldn't find any there.

Yeah i'm looking for those now too! They used to be on ebay, but not anymore. Hey dust, my pics are not as clear as yours but i have RED numbering on the gauges to match my paint! Also, i kept the neddles red, they are not indiglo and only the gauge lighting in the front shines on them, they light up hyper white at night! Yes, they are Pilot motorsports gauges, made for the 94-97 accord.

I just noticed that your numbers are red (mine are black)!

As for the needles, the '97s only came with white needles. I think they changed to red for '98-'99.

Looks good ding, where did you get them?

Good luck with the chrome guage rings, I never received the ones I ordered awhile back (long story).
So if you see them listed on ebay again, be careful if they are from terrshop.com, they were impossible to deal with.
I waited and e-mailed them for almost 2 months and they never showed.

Nice link, I didn't know Crutchfield had that kind of stuff.

Myself, I just want the rings, not the entire overlay + the rings.

$69.99 is too much, cause I would end up throwing away the overlay part.

It was nothing but grief over $31 lousy dollars.

Tons of unanswered e-mails. Then they blamed the Canadian post office.
If I knew at the time they were selling a bunch of stuff on ebay I would have checked their feedback and found out how many complaints they already had. And most complaints were exactly like my experience.

YEP, i scored them on ebay, $25.00 + shipping. NOW, i need chrome rings. Those overlays are all over ebay, you can prob grab one under $30 if you look for it.
And for the install.......
1. Pry out cruise control and dimmer switches from the dash.*
2. Remove 2 screws behind them
3. Remove 2 screws in the black trim infront/ontop of the cluster
4. Slide trim out, and remove 2 screws on top brackets and 2 on the bottom.*
5. Remove the steel brackets on top of the cluster, makes it easier to get the cluster past the sterring wheel.
6. Now the cluster is free, for indiglos ask someone else, for white faced, remove 4 stock wedge bulbs from the back of the cluster.
7. Throw your white faces over the stock being careful of the needles not to snap
8. Clean up glass inside and out and install your gauges.
*=snap out harness
If you haven't done it before, allow about 1 hr for install, i did it in 35 min.
if i missed or skipped, please, someone correct me.....
