Where to put remote wire with line converter?

Where to put remote wire with line converter?
I am installing an Xtant amp with my focal sub off my favorite headunit. I am using a line converter to get RCA's. The question is: Where does the remote wire run to? Do I need to run it all the way to head unit or can I run into the rear speakers somehow? Thanks
