Purple? A member on here was going to do rims similar to these with blue lips and blue window trim which I thought would be hot, not sure why you want purple, but I'm sure you could make it work

i think he wants to be the next purple people eater
i don't mind wild colors, as long as you have a sick car to back it up (power, looks etc..)
but if you put purple accents on a normal looking CL, it's gonna look dumb IMO
but to each their own

I found a perfect condition set of 17x7 Motegi FF6 wheels with ok tires. Probably can get these for $300. They will need tires after one summer though. What are your thoughts on these wheels and is it a good deal??

Three Wheelin'
I've always associated Motegi with kitted out show cars of the late 90's. They sold that brand at Sears and Pepboys. The Rota's are more widely accepted, but keep in mind the off road grids only come in 16x8. You'll need a substantial drop to make it look right.

if you like the wheels, buy them, simple as that, 300 sounds like a pretty good price, just make sure you price out tires to see what you'll be paying when you have to replace them
but i agree with the rest of the guys, motegi= IMO

visually they seem like nice wheels and a cheap buy, but i wouldn't buy them as my main set of wheels. I dont really know about the quality of motegi's though, i don't know many people who have them.

why is everyone hating on it just cuz of a brand name? Motegi makes some nice wheels, they make some cheap wheels but the brand is not crap just because it's that brand, rotas are cheap too. Buy the wheels that you think will look good

I just dont know enough about them to invest in them, I'd have to do my research 1st. But if you like em, why not get em? they're a good price

Well I finally got some wheels. Sportmaxx 962 Gold finish 17x7. I friend of mine owed money for a long time and he recently offered me some wheels he had toward payment to me. Not my first choice in wheels but I figured I could always sell them. The wheels are in great shape and the tires are like new. He even gave me lug nuts and hub centric rings. He owed me $350 and we called it even.
