What engine bays can a F23 from my 1999 2.3 CL fit in? I have begun ripping down my old motor...looks pretty DAMN GOOD too... A couple of wore out bearings...but other than that, the motor looks good. I am going to rebuild it and drop into an old accord, or something. What vehicles will a F23 fit in fairly easily? Will they fit into civics with different mounts? Also, What would you guys suggest on the rebuild...any specific mods I can do to squeeze out some more HP, while the motor is apart?

 

waste time building it. swap the bottom end onto ur h22..

 

the f23 bottom end will match up? why would it be better than a stock H22 bottom end?

 

Well, what I am want to do is end up with another vehicle out of it..
I was thinking about putting it in something like THIS and use the harness and sensors out of that motor. I really don't want to pay more than 500-1000 for the body though.

 

to make life easier, get a 98 up accord and it will drop in bolt up and drive, my wife has a 98 accord with the 2.3 and i compared it to my 2.2 and they have some different sensor wires and parts.

 

put it in a del sol!!!! thatd be nice, or a 93 accord would be cool
