What are the codes???
What are the codes???
My check engine light turned on tha otha day, and i heard dat you can touch some wire and the check engine light will blink a certain number of times and dat number of times means wutz wrong wit it, but you gotta have some special book to see tha code, do any of u kno them???
you need a code reader that plugs into the car, that comes with the book of codes. You can get them from JC Whitney. Its most likely a bad oxygen sensor or the egr valve... if your car is under warranty bring it to the dealer.
I've posted all the codes on the "resources" portion of my web page.
Feel free to PM or email with any more questions.
You have to look for the connector. Took me a while to find it.

Yup thats the obdII connector thing. I did it tonight to Tweeder's car it took a second once i found a paper clip. You just connect both ends of the paper clip into both holes on the blue connector. Then you turn you key to 3 position. Your check engine light will start flashing. Long flashes count as 10's and short flashes count as 1's. Example 6 long flashes and 5 short flashes=65 Then the pattern will repeat itself.
Which was the code for tweeders car by the way. So forget about buying an obdII scanner.
niedejb thanks for posting up the codes, mad props

2 things
1: Save you the cost of a new one if the ECU's throwing the check engine light. $150.
2: Allow you to use a "racing" cat (straight pipe). Cheaper than legal ones and more HP.

I know how to disable those too. As long as its the 2nd sensor you dont need it. :P

For some reason after I installed my racing cat my check engine light didn't go off and still hasnt gone off. My secondary o2 sensor is just pretty much tucked underneath my car. Since the racing cat didn't come with hole for it. Guess I didn't have to do a mil eliminator.

In order to use the ODB II connector in the ashtray you need a cable and the neccessary software. They sell them for palm pilots and laptops and such... here is a link with some pics:
