When you guys get into your car, when you first open the door, does it ding? When I open my door, it dings like there's keys in it. Sometimes it dings once, sometimes twice, sometimes three times. Kinda weird, dontcha think?

Also my stereo does this intermitent thing where it won't shut off after I take the key out for like 10 seconds or so. It does it off and on, but consistently. What I mean is, it will do it one was or the other for a few days at a time.

 

mine never does that at all unless i have my keys in the ignition

maybe your ignition is fucked up, but lucky you there is a ignition recall, go have it done at any acura dealer for free, it is required by the recall for the car so you dont have to pay for shit and if they make you pay for something tell them no cause its covered under the ignition recall

the radio should shut off once you turn off the car i mean you can have the keys in and have the car off and still roll up the windows maybe its the same kind of feature

 

Are you using the keyless entry? If so, If you push the unlock, then push it twice to unlock the passenger door it will make the warning sound when the lights are on, and the car isn't. This is because it flashes the parking lights.

as baka_t already said the niose is becuase you use your keyless entry and its set on lights flashing instead of the beep noise so it falshes the dash lights twice when u unlock and if u open the door fast enough while its blinking since the light is on and the door is open it makes that warning noise ,, nothing wrong with the car my man ..

 

Yeah, it's aftermarket. After it was installed it was fine, then a couple days later it did it, but I thought it was kinda cool. Then it stopped for a couple weeks and started again for a couple days.

 

lol funny thread. it beeps when you hit the unlock button and immediately open the door afterwards.
