Uneven drop

I hear that the ever popular Pro-Kit/KYB AGX drop on the 3.0's is a bit uneven. I also remember reading somewhere on these boards that if you get Koni Yellow's instead of the KYB's that you can even out the drop because of some settings or something that the Koni's have. Can anybody elaborate on this for me?

Prokit was uneven on my 2.3. It will probably be the same on the 3.0. The front looks like a prerunner! It does ride really nice though.

I was thinking about mixing up the shocks like you mentioned, but i didn't want to risk it still not looking right.

Koni Yellows are fully adjustable, thats why you can even it out. But why even it out? If you are going to get koni yellows to even it out, get a full set!

pro-kits are the best springs i've ever ridden on, if only they were lower I miss them and recommend them to anyone who wants the perfect drop, not to low, not to high and handles like a dream.

here is a 3.0 on tokico's and the prokit w/ 18" wheels

the drop isn't uneven at all, it just might look that way because the front fender gap is wider and taller then the rear. It's like this on almost all cars. So if a car is going to be dropped 1.5" front and back it may look uneven but really won't be.

i love the way my prokit setup rides w/ koni yellows. when i get a camber kit i will drop the front down on the lower perch setting which will make the car sit about .25-.5" lower in the front and even out the wheel gap. on the standard perch setting the car dropped bout 2" and it is even off the gound, just not the wheel gap.
