i wouldnt mind street glow.. white street glow that pulses.. if someone gave them to me for free.. shoot .. ill take it..

but overall i wouldnt spend money out of my own wallet

 

Neons =

 

i thought about gettin it but then again my car didnt appear in fast and curious 2....

 

i bought neons for the inside of the car, that are blue and they look sweet

you may all call me a ricer but i think the inside its ok, but under the car then you asking for a ass whooping

i love driving with them on, it grab peoples attention if the tv doesnt grab their attention first

 

my friend has neons on the inside and had them on the outside...

once the neons under the car broke , he got LED underbody

its pretty fucking disgusting

I'm going to get blue interior neons, and switch all the dash lighting to blue as well.

 

I have seen pics posted on here with a CL with neons and they are not my cup of tea. The only place I would even consider putting neons would be a custom trunk enclosure with some neons glowing the backsides of the subs through a plexi window. And even then Im not so sure...

 

I think it also depends on how old you are.

 

I have red neon in the trunk to accent the stereo and air tanks, and white underbody. However, my right bulb got smashed when I hit a log inthe road and broke a wheel. I was going to go and get a replacement today, but never got around to it.

I like them, I think it's personal preference. It's no more rice than adding a stereo. It's cosmetic. Not rice....

 

I had red underneath, before the front bar got demolished when I hit a random cinderblock on the highway....I'm with Chrisbpickering...if the bars are hidden well so only the light shows without the bars being seen, its aight...but thats just me...

It depends on the overall appearance of the car. It has to comment the car nicely. I know a guy with a Honda Odyssey and a GS 430 with neons. It really looks dope. Both cars are white with blue neons. They don't drive around with them on all the time. I wouldn't mind getting some and wiring them into the auxillary so everytime I unlock my car, the neons will be on.

 

I have underbody's.. I personally think they look sick

Comment out my car really nice now with the SL-R Mirrors and WW lip, But I rarely use them, because I havent had a chance to gut out the plastic in front to mount the front one perfectlly without being seen..

Otherwise The other 3 are perfect and look great ;\


Not to mention when my rims are on you can see the rim kinda 'glow' in effect on the inside when spinning heh...

 

Yeah, I notched the under body plastic in the front to recess the front neon. I don't like seeing the bulb.

even though his car looks like shit, to me, i still give him props for his effort, time, and money, that he had spent on his car.

my car is white and i am dressing up the engine and painting the calipers red, so i thought about red underbodys...not sure though. I would never be caught "driving around" with them...but they do look great for shows and such

 

i guess "to each his own".....neons will look good on some cars, and really shitty on others. Theres an Acura Legend 4dr in town thats green with green neons that looks like crap to me...and then theres the ever so rare hona civic thats got a yellow trunk, pink doors and a grey bodykit with blue accents and like a red neon kit......thats just ewwwww.....(i never understood why someone would actually drive around a car thats not finished being painted or put together....i'd park that bitch in the garage and keep my pride and ride the bus! Hell no i woudnt drive around in a civic with multi colors and missing parts and all that shit crap! ewww! (sorry i had to vent...ive been seeing too many of theose around here lately!)

 

neons are weird...and depend on how the overall car looks. If it is a ford contour w/ a 4 inch wheel gap, unpainted kit, and ugly rims then the neons are going to do nothing for that car...but if you have a clean car...then i think the right neons can make it look even better....i.e. aron, AcuraJL's car....he has orange neons underneath his car...and when he turns them on at night, it looks really tight.

it's all about presentation.
